I went back to the racetrack one more time to capture some images that tell the story of a day at the races. I didn’t have a good “establishing shot,” that is, a shot showing the viewer where the portraits were taken. I took a couple: one of the entrance to the racetrack and this one with the track and horses.

I also got a couple more portraits I like. This was a brother and sister all dressed up for a day at the races.

This was a young lady and her parents, who were visiting from Mexico.

I like the horse purse and scarf on this woman, who was leaving and was lit by the late afternoon sun.

There’s just an inexhaustible supply of people to photograph at the track.
