We finally had a rainstorm last week—we need the rainfall—and one result was ground fog the next morning. I saw it on my morning walk when I reached the top of a small hill, so I hurried home, got my camera, and drove to another, higher location.
I walked down a trail there and found these three compositions.
I know photographers disagree on whether having people in a landscape is a plus or a minus, but here, I think it’s a plus, because they’re just silhouettes.
I’m looking forward to more rain next week, and more photogenic atmospheric conditions.
I walk this trail, regularly. These are absolutely spectacular photos.
Thanks Ellen. Whenever we get a storm or a sky with great clouds, I head up to Donald Drive to take photos. I saw this ground fog on my morning walk in my neighborhood and immediately got my camera and headed for high ground to look down on the fog.
